The Goal is simple, with technology allowing us to reach nearly every corner of the globe, we live at a point where something extraordinary can be possible for the first time in our history, a global picture – 12/12/12. On December 12th in the year 2012 the goal is to have as many people possible take a picture during the day/night of the 12th and then upload it to the site

The results of this global effort is to be assembled into a giant art project, a snapshot of the world.
